It’s already the month of March… somehow, we’re just days away from going to Niseko, Japan. That trip has consumed a lot of our time. And, I’m happy to say that the planning for it has finally reached the “cruise control” point….or maybe it’s the “point of no return” point. Either way….all we can do now is show up in Japan and have fun!
A quick recap from our recent NAASF Ski Week in Steamboat. Our usual rockstars on snowboards, Kameron Troy and Traci Farley finished 3rd and 4th. Vince Callender and Matt Anaya finished 5th and 7th, I placed 11th and Kevin O’Brien 14th….That’s a lot of Team points! Which explains why we’re currently leading in the race for the Shredders Cup. This is big news! It could be the first time in many years where the Southwest Airlines Ski and Snowboard Club takes home a season ending award. We just need some consistent finishes in Telluride to clinch it!
Just two weeks after we return from Niseko, we’ll be on our way to Telluride for the final NAASF Ski Week of the season. I’ve updated our website with all the current details. If you’ve never been to Telluride, you should clear your schedule and join us. I describe it as, “spring skiing at its finest!”
Here’s some important items when planning for Telluride;
*Register early on NAASF.COM
*Telluride is on the Epic pass. But, it’s only the full pass. Not the military or local, or whatever others they have. And, Telluride requires an actual card to be scanned…not the virtual pass that you may have on your phone.
*Ski Week registration gives you access to lift tickets for just $95 per day. You need to order in advance via the link on our website.
*Team dinner…I’ll gladly accept any help in securing a location for our Team Dinner.
*Theme Party….Anything with the letter “W”
It’s going to be a fun week. There’s something planned for each day and night.
Any questions?? Just send them to me. I’d love to see our biggest turnout yet for Telluride…it’s spring skiing at its finest!
Thanks for reading!
