The schedule we had about 24 hours ago has been tossed to the curb. The resort required some changes to the racing schedule. So, everything has been adjusted. Here’s how the itinerary looks presently. Please take note that this could change just as quickly. So, I’ll push out any last minute changes during my daily updates while we’re at the resort. Be sure to check the daily itinerary here and/or our Facebook page for the latest info.
Here’s what we have thus far…
Monday, April 11
No practice courses will be available. Enjoy the resort. Just be at the KT Base Bar at 12 noon for the start of the Poker Run. Find your teammate, pay the ante, ($5 per person) to receive the list of dealers and your first of 5 cards. Then ski or ride all over the mountain to collect three more cards. You’ll have until the mountain closes for the day to get to the dealers. The final card will be dealt to the competing teams at the Tuck Party which is also serving as our Welcome Party/ Après Ski for the day. Starting at 4:00pm. Just look for the crowd in the back of the Village parking lot. At about the same location as last year, if that helps. I’m told that there will be food and drink available, donated by local retailers. But, it’s always a good idea to bring a few items of your own.
Tuesday, April 12
0915-1030 Slalom practice NASTAR run
1045-1230 Giant slalom practice NASTAR run
1300-1500 Snowboard practice NASTAR run
It’s also Jersey Day. Wear any team jersey, any sport, high school, college, pro, make believe…your choice.
1830 Team Dinner, hosted by Ken McKean at his VRBO, 4090 River Road, Olympic Valley, CA. 96146
We’ll make multiple trips in the same cars if we have to in order to get everyone there and back. We’ll have lots of food and drink (chili, salad, chips, etc. beer, wine and a few types spirits. Bring some of your own if you like. Ski Club is buying. But, we’ll gladly accept donations to recover some of the costs.

1700-2200 Miami Vice Theme Party! Location; Bar One. Doors and Bar open at 5, food served at 6……(we’re gonna need an after party!)
Thursday April 14 more racing…
0915-1200 A women’s and men’s Slalom NASTAR
1200-1500 B women’s and men’s Slalom NASTAR
1700-2200 Final awards banquet. Location; Olympic Village Event Center. Same as the day before, door, bar at 5, food at 6, and so on, and so on…
Friday April 15 Safe travels home, or to your next Lake Tahoe resort!!
